Bremen, 29. August 2013 - Thin Clients des deutschen Marktführers IGEL Technology unterstützen zukünftig die Sicherheitslösung OneSign ProveID Embedded von Imprivata. Die Software bietet Anwendern im Gesundheitswesen sichere klinische Authentifizierung mit No Click Access innerhalb virtueller Desktop-Infrastrukturen (VDI). Da die Softwarelösung direkt in die Firmware der IGEL Thin Clients integriert ist, ermöglicht Imprivatas OneSign ProveID eine leistungsstarke vorinstallierte Anwenderauthentifizierung für den schnellen und sicheren Zugriff auf klinische Applikationen und kritische Patienteninformationen. Zunächst wird OneSign ProveID Embedded für den System-on-a-Chip Thin Client IGEL UD2-LX MultiMedia zur Verfügung stehen. Für die Zukunft ist die Integration auch für x86-basierte Geräte aus dem IGEL Portfolio geplant.
