FRAMINGHAM, MASS. -- According to the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Enterprise Client Device Tracker, worldwide thin client and terminal client device shipments totaled 1.28 million units in the first quarter of 2014 (1Q14), an increase of 7.1% from the same quarter a year ago and 2% lower than IDC's forecast for the quarter.

With the Dell relationship behind it now, we look at devonIT and the results so far.

Write up on thin client war heating up between HP and the upstart Dell. The way these two companies have been snapping up infrastructure companies so that they have more hooks into the customer than the other is entertaining to watch. Neither will give quarter. Right now you have to give HP the edge for sure but Dell is making them do it so to speak.
