Propalms supports Panologic channel customers

Pano Logic went out of business on 10/23/2012.  Propalms - http://www.propalms.com, a global provider of application delivery solutions, secure SSL VPN access and virtual desktop infrastructure solutions recently acquired the rights to provide sales and support to Pano Logic's channel partner and customer base.

Pano Logic Continuing Saga

Just days after publicizing it had landed a huge new account, Pano Logic's offices are empty, its phones shut off, and its Facebook page silent.  More and more the cease & desist, Dell and Wyse are speculated as factors.
More follow up on disappearance of Pano Logic, this time from Business Insider. 70 emps listed on LinkedIn and PR group confirmed out of business and left it at that. Strange.

om The Register -- Sysadmin Blog Around this time last year I reviewed Pano Logic's Zero Client Solution, a sort of super-thin-client set of kit. I was test-driving the company's first-generation hardware and a software suite two versions behind the latest release. I've now had a chance to review the second-generation hardware with its latest software, and I remain impressed with what they can deliver.

VDI release turns PCs/laptops into virtual clients

Pano Logic
New Pano Logic release lets customers repurpose business-class PCs or laptops so IT departments can get started in desktop virtualization while also extending the lifecycle of their existing PCs. This will help many make the business case for making the move in their organizations.

As Gartner's Chris Wolf (quote from him in article) pointed out last month on Twitter,"Experts saying VDI isn't taking off need to spend less time talking, more time getting heads out of the sand. Tons of deployments going on" And consider the recent surge of interest in desktop virtualization fueled by hi-profile acquisitions (Dell acquiring Wyse & Citrix acquiring Virtual Computer).
