Wyse Technology with three new positions to fill.

1: Systems Engineer:

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic solutions oriented Systems Engineer. Responsibilities include a combination of pre-sales consultation services, performing technical product demonstrations, project managing, proof of concept engagements, and thin computing initiatives within a geographic territory in coordination with the UK Sales Organization.

Qualified candidates will work with enterprise customers to shorten the sales cycle by overcoming technical hurdles within specified accounts. The Systems Engineer must demonstrate solid communication skills, technical expertise, sales ability, and working both independently and within a team. They must also be able to communicate complicated technical material in a stressful yet results oriented environment.

Responsibilities Include:

■Leveraging relationships within organizations to solve technical hurdles and foster awareness of our products and solutions
■Working with Value Added Reseller (VAR) ecosystem
■Working with the Sales Engineers and\or Sales Representatives on specified enterprise accounts
■Installing, configuring and testing our solution at customer's facilities during sales and\or proof of concept initiatives
■Interfacing with various customers at both a business and a technical level, and propose viable solutions in real time during customer meetings
■Assisting with the development of Wyse Product suite. This may include conducting joint account calls, updating other technical staff on new features, and working with them to develop solutions for customers

Required Skills:
■4+ years of IT experience in a Vendor, Professional Services, IT Consulting, Systems Integration, or end-user environment
■2+ years, technical pre-sales experience, or technical business related experience
■Excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills
■Professional presentation skills
■Hands-on experience with building servers and setting up networks
■Self-starter that manages time and activities with little day-to-day guidance or interaction from management
■Excellent listening skills resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction. Must be able to listen for opportunities as well as potential technical hurdles

Required Skills:
■Citrix XenApp and Xendesktop experience (CCEA a plus)
■VMware View experience (VCP a plus)
■Microsoft Server OS 2003/2008 and Windows XP Pro/Windows 7 experience (MCSE a plus)
■Cisco Networking Experience (CCNA a plus)
■SUSE or Red Hat Linux experience (RHCVA and SUSE Linux Certification a plus



2: Inside Sales.

Job Description

Wyse Technology is looking for an upbeat, focused, and well-organized individual to join our regional Sales Team selling the WW markets #1 leading Thin Computing solution! As an integral part of the sales organization the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the entire sales process, from prospecting to close. Developing and cultivating mutually positive relationships with Resellers , Distributors, Technology Partners and your sales team, to achieve or exceed sales quotas, is key to a sales representatives success.

Primary Responsibilities

· Plan and execute selling strategy for given business territory

· Effectively prospect, identify, qualify, own and manage sales pipeline

· Drive a prospect through the entire sales cycle to close

· Consistently strive to meet or exceed established goals

· Build lasting channel relationships to drive success in territory

· Develop proficiency on all assigned Wyse products, programs and systems.

· Use CRM package for all information regarding sales stages and prospects

· Portray a professional image in all communications

Minimum qualifications

· A minimum of 1 year sales experience/sales development in a high-tech environment

· Ability to tie prospect’s business "pain" to technology solution

· Hard-working, detail orientated individual looking to establish a career in sales

· Excellent phone selling and presentation skills

· Motivated, self-starter that is driven by success

Proven track record in sales. Ability to meet and exceed individual sales targets on a consistent basis.



3: Post Sales support.

Position Title: Post Sales Support Engineer


Primary function: Provide direct technical support to Wyse customers and partners with minimal management supervision . Independently troubleshoot and resolve product related issues. Ensure satisfactory resolution to customer problems.

Duties:

  • Triage and provide technical expertise in resolving product issues.
  • Provide technical support to direct customers, resellers, and field engineers.
  • Replicate customer environments to troubleshoot and resolve problems, file defects etc.
  • Document problem details and problem resolution into Support case management application.
  • Work with internal departments on product defects and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical knowledge of specification and operations of Wyse products.
  • Test, organize and report the progress of on-going issues on regular basis
  • Create Knowledge Base entries.
  • Document customer environments/topology as required.



    Employment Requirements:
  • Excellent communication, organization, and technical support skills are essential.
  • The ability to work as part of a team with a total commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Experience/knowledge of Networking - practical application of technologies, protocols, and related standards including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP, XML, LAN, WAN, Routers.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Load Balancers and various databases is desired.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux/UNIX Operating Systems - scripting is a plus
  • Citrix XenApp and Xendesktop experience
  • Microsoft Server OS 2003/2008 and Windows XP Pro/Windows 7 experience (MCSE a plus)
