The company said its zero client devices are secure, manageable and flexible, and its controlled access to information enables complete data security and compliance at the endpoint.

As the new release is centrally managed and has no moving parts, it helps in reducing energy consumption by 95%, Pano Logic added.

The company also claimed that Pano System 4 is the industry's first and only server-side software that supports three hypervisor platforms eliminating the need for remoting or display protocols, client side compute processing or driver stacks.

The 3.5" square, 2" tall device also supports Citrix XenDesktop, Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere/View interchangeably and interoperates with each platform's management systems. It comes with a native dual monitor support, USB support for VoIP and webcams as well.

The device comprises dual DVI monitor ports, VGA monitor support, and an integrated audio input/output jack. Its power consumption is 6 watts.
