This app not only gives potential Skadden recruiting candidates a lot of great info about the company, locations, values and interview process, it adds a really cool element: Image Recognition Technology.
Built into the app is ABBYY OCR with a BCR add-on (that one's for our tech fans). In other words, the app lets you take a picture of a Skadden business card and get a fully detailed bio of the cardholder from the website. The bio and the card holder's contact details are then automatically saved in the app for later use. And yes, it does differentiate the name from the email and the phone number and files them appropriately. The card reader will read any business card (sans the bio if it's not a Skadden card) and save those details as well - great for candidates networking with other candidates. There's also a notes section in case you need to add some additional info while at the networking events or prepping for the final round of interviews.
