Dubai, UAE - 19 September 2011 - Avnet Technology Solutions, an IT solutions distribution leader and an operating group ofAvnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), today named Henry Godwin as regional director for the Middle East and Africa (MEA). Godwin will be responsible for the strategic direction of Avnet Technology Solutions in the region. Godwin will report to Graeme Watt, President of Avnet Technology Solutions, EMEA.
