NComputing showcases Virtual Desktop Solutions at Gulf Educational Supplies and Solutions Exhibition

Hemel Hempstead, UK - 28 February, 2013 - NComputing, the leader in accelerating the adoption of desktop virtualisation, today announced its participation in the Gulf Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS) Exhibition in Dubai.

Education is a key solution area for NComputing worldwide including the Middle East. Already more than 30,000 schools in 140 countries depend on NComputing virtual desktop solutions in classrooms, computer labs, libraries, testing centers, media centers, administrative offices, teacher desks and for digital signage.

The GESS Exhibition (5th to 7th March) is the only event in the United Arab Emirates to cover the complete spectrum of educational supplies and solutions. The exhibition is focused on providing attendees with the opportunity to see the latest technologies in action and to help educators find new and exciting resources for the classroom. The event is run in association with the Dubai Ministry for Education and will feature over 250 leading educational experts from more than 30 countries.

At the event, NComputing will showcase its L-Series and N-Series thin client solutions from stand R22. L-series, an innovative virtual desktop client device, is able to connect up to 100 user sessions to a single NComputing vSpace server, offering a simple and powerful desktop virtualisation solution. N-series is a virtual computing Citrix-based thin client that delivers high quality HDX experience at approximately one third of the cost of HDX-capable PCs and traditional thin client devices.

Visitors at the GESS exhibition will be able to see live demos of these products and discuss real-life case studies demonstrating how NComputing's virtualisation solutions can dramatically lower IT costs for schools looking to replace traditional PCs and enhance students' learning experience.
