Wyse Highlights Broadest Ever Portfolio of Cloud Client Computing Solutions

Showcases latest developments in virtualization, management, and cloud software plus how newest thin, zero, mobile and tablet client solutions optimize desktop virtualization for the smallest to the largest organisations

LONDONUK - October 19, 2011 - Wyse Technology, the global leader in cloud client computing, today announced its participation in IPExpo London, October 19th to 20th at Earls Court 2, London. The Wyse booth is in the Main Hall, Stand C64.

At IPExpo London, Wyse Technology will showcase how it's accelerating the post-PC era in which more and more organisations are embracing how cloud client computing and virtual desktop infrastructure transforms IT for end users and IT managers. Wyse will be demonstrating and presenting how its solutions deliver the superior end user performance, security and flexibility for today's work styles, while simplifying management and support, reducing operational costs and achieving green computing targets.

On its stand, Wyse will highlight the company's broadest suite of management software for managing thin, zero and mobile clients, PCs, cloud PCs and diskless workstations in traditional, cloud and VDI environments.  This includes a demonstration of its latest version of Wyse Device Manager (WDM) which offers industry first support for automated instant configuration of Linux and Windows Embedded devices, making these devices simpler to deploy and far less costly to own.

Alongside its innovative high performance zero clients optimised for Citrix and VMware environments - the Wyse Xenith Pro and Wyse P20 respectively - visitors also will be able to try out the world's fastest thin client, the new Wyse Z class thin client running dual screens and rich multi-media applications. To show how cloud client computing can replace PCs on an even wider scale, Wyse will demonstrate the new budget-friendly T50 thin clients, delivering business-class virtual desktop performance for smaller organisations and departments.

The mobility zone will spotlight the latest mobile thin client devices from Wyse. This includes the Wyse X90m7, a next-generation 14" mobile thin client with high performance HD multimedia capabilities.

Additionally, Wyse will demonstrate how its award winning Wyse PocketCloud apps are enabling desktop virtualisation on a fast growing array of Apple iOS and Android tablets.
