Michele Nicholson as Channel Sales Manager to support its rapid UK business growth. IGEL reported a record year in the UK in 2011, with the business seeing strong organic growth in sales of its Universal Desktop thin clients and 565% growth in license sales for its Universal Desktop Conversion software, designed to convert old PCs and thin clients into easy to manage IGEL desktops.
Michele will be offering IGEL's approved partner network additional focus supporting the channel to drive business through improved marketing, communications and sales support. She will also be looking to identify additional strong channel partners in specialist vertical markets, the financial services heart of the City of London and the North.
With more than 25 years of technology sales experience, Michele was recruited from IGEL's exclusive UK distributor SDG where she worked in Strategic Business Development for IQ-Sys, specialists in distributing quality Application Access Infrastructure, Virtualisation, Network Management and IT Security solutions to the UK channel.
